Hospitality guru Nick Platon has combined a lovely modern restaurant venue with a chef and hospitality school, only five minutes walk from the center of Hobart. The signature dish includes one of the best melt in your mouth eye fillets in Hobart, accompanied by a luscious pepper sauce, stir fried crisp greens and chateau potatoes. If you'd like to be a little more adventurous, try the chocolate chili pork on grilled polenta with orange riata. There is a different apprentice special daily that is well worth sampling. Considering the exceptionally high standard of this restaurant, prices are very reasonable. With perfect food presentation, a friendly and helpful staff, lovely decor, an excellent cocktail and wine list, you won't want to miss a chance to enjoy an evening here.
