Olive Restaurant and Wine Bar is located right on the Bellerive harbor front. The views are lovely and to accentuate them, there is floor to ceiling glass allowing for picturesque panoramas while enjoying your meal. The lunch menu has something for everyone and includes traditional fish and chips, salads, toasted sandwiches, Pasta Carbonara, Lasagne and their specialty which is homemade potato gnocchi with pumpkin, pancetta, freshly grated parmesan, covered in a creamy pesto sauce. There is a small but well chosen and reasonably priced wine list to accompany. To complete your meal you might want to indulge in some fresh Italian gelato, a lemon and blueberry tart or possibly a crème brulee. Only a ten minute drive over the bridge from Hobart will bring you to the door. Payment is in cash.
