Two university students came from Malaysia to study at the University of Tasmania and stayed to start one of Hobart's finest Thai restaurants. Christopher Wong was raised in the area of Kota Bahru on the Malay/Thai border and comes from a family of restaurateurs and chefs. He decided to make the cuisine of this establishment as authentic as possible and he has been completely successful. The menu is extensive and allows many choices for soups, starters, mains, and stir fries. A starter of 'Tom Yum Gai' with lime and lemongrass, followed by a main of the king prawns with house sauce, and a dessert of sticky rice and mango to finish is simply superb. A ten minute walk from central Hobart will bring you to the door.
