Wellington Wines is the largest winery in the South of Tasmania, but it has no vineyard. The owner, Andrew Hood, is a wine maker of some renown, who makes wines for many of the small southern vineyards with Wellington Wines as his own exclusive label. Available at the winery is Riesling, a particularly thick and sticky variety which perfectly matches desserts. The wine maker has also won many awards.
