One of Southgate's newer residents, The Deck enjoys a good position on the mid level of the complex. The waiting staff is welcoming and efficient, and the place is quickly winning fans. Chic, contemporary interior design and fabulous city and river views from the balcony give this cafe an edge. Inside the feel is of a sophisticated Italian café-bar. The concise menu shows a strong Italian influence, with a good selection of pastas, risottos and mains of seafood and meat. For something different try the Italian style gourmet sausages. Great desserts complete the picture.
