Overview

Owners of the popular Base Camp provide the residents of Melbourne with the best of authentic Nepalese cuisine. No Nepalese restaurant would be complete without a picture or two of Mount Everest. Hanging from the ceilings are Buddhist prayer flags, promoting good vibes and karma. Start with the Momos (dumplings) or curry puffs with spicy plum sauce. Then opt for a mild curry or Khasiko Masu (goat meat cooked in traditional home style). Leave room also for the tempting range of desserts. Open for lunch, only by prior appointment.
