Overview

Built in 1835, this is one of the oldest commercial buildings in Western Australia. Early European settlers required a windmill to grind grain for flour, thus the Old Mill came into being. As time passed it operated as a chicken farm, tavern, and tearooms. It was eventually restored in the 1950s. Inside the mill an information gallery charts the building's history, while the grounds feature two open sheds that house 10 horse-drawn carriages.
