Overview

Joining the ranks of the Surry Hills area’s ever-growing list of bistros, District Dining has made a bold entry onto the scene, setting up a shop in a renovated and revamped space on Randle Street. The brightly colored mural is the first sign that this is a more relaxed option for chef and owner Warren Turnbull, best known for his two-hatted restaurant, Assiette. The casual approach flows through to the menu, with most dishes made to share. You’ll want to have the desserts all to yourself, however, with treats like coffee brulee with chocolate madelines on offer.
