Lilliblack, Sydney

This a story about the little cafe that could. Lilliblack does not look like much from the outside: a few tables and chairs on a corner at the quiet end of Darlinghurst's Liverpool Street, where it heads up the hill to Hyde Park. But inside it's a very different story: a color scheme of glossy greens and blacks, Florence Broadhurst prints and Bertoia wire chairs. Breakfast is the name of the game here, and while the menu is a triumph in its own right, the specials board is to die for. Take advantage of the free wireless and set yourself up with a coffee and something delicious.
