M&J Thai, Sydney

While the standard fare at most pubs consists of steaks and parmagianas (or an upscale version of something similar), Parramatta’s Woolpack Hotel has opted for something a little different, installing a Thai restaurant as their main dining attraction. M&J Thai offers traditional Thai cuisine, starting with entrees of fish cakes, chicken satay skewers or vegetarian curry puffs. Laksa lovers will not be disappointed, and there is a long list of noodles, stir-frys, warm salads and barbecue dishes to keep everyone happy. Don’t miss the chef’s specialties, though, like the fish fillet with chilli and tamarind sauce or the Thai omelette with minced chicken.
