Stella Blu, a swish Italian bar and restaurant on Dee Why's corso, has a spacious, comfortable inside dining and bar area and a large shaded patio with great views of the magnificent sweep of beach through the row of Norfolk Pines. Visitors can hang in the bar, sampling their signature cocktails including Lychee Martini, Platinum Blonde or the Mrs. Robinson, as well as a taste of their tapas bar menu—the hot, salty, Taleggio-cheese stuffed olives are perfect with a cold beer. Or head to the restaurant for some classic Italian. The Agnello Brasato, 6-hour slow roasted shoulder of lamb, is recommended, as is the table groaning seafood banquet. From Monday to Friday, it opens at 9a and during the weekends at 8a.
