Alexander Park Raceway, Auckland

Located in the lush suburb of Epsom, the Alexander Park raceway is more commonly known as Alexander Park to the locals. It includes the Auckland Trotting Club and the New Zealand Trotting Hall of Fame. Once known for the quality of horse breeds and races, the mid 80's caused a slack in interest due to other forms of entertainment like casinos, lotteries, gaming cafes etc. Subsequently the management shifted its focus to other vistas. Besides its obvious equestrian connections, there is also a sports bar and conference facilities available for business events.
