Sri Pinang, Auckland

One of the longest-running, family-owned restaurants in central Auckland, Sri Pinang serves up marvelous Malaysian dishes at more than affordable prices. The tables are always clean and adorned with small vases of flowers, and the lights are always bright and cheerful. Regulars return again and again for the friendly service and the delightful atmosphere created by the owners. Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean dishes are all cooked authentically to suit all palates. The highly recommended Rendang Curry (chicken or beef) is hot and dry. Desserts are also served and will often be specially created for children.
