Originally built as a gymnasium in 1908, this character-filled building became a movie theater in 1978 housed within the Arts Centre. Specializing in foreign and art-house films, it is a medium-sized theater in the classical mold, providing the magic of the cinema-going experience of yesteryear. Upstairs the Casablanca Café and Wine Bar provides a relaxed, refined space in which to enjoy drinks and food before or after the film, while downstairs at the snack bar the usual array of goodies are on offer. Only cash payments are accepted, but there is an ATM at the back of the theater.
