Overview

Established in 1977, the Jubilate Singers is one of many excellent choirs on the Christchurch music scene, representing the depth of the city's choral tradition. Winning a coveted Gold Award at the Sydney International Music Festival in 1994, the choir developed a high reputation through public performance and appearances on radio and television. While specialising in a cappella singing, they also perform with a small chamber orchestra, with a repertoire that ranges from the Baroque period to the present day.
