Mansfield House, Christchurch

Set in a building dating from the turn of the century, Mansfield's tavern is a comfortable and relaxed pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The pub consists of two main bar areas; the back bar, a wood-paneled drawing room with fireplace, and the front bar, a more contemporary space with bar stools and bright colors. An attractive veranda to front and side provides alternative seating for warmer days. There is an extensive wine list and a selection of New Zealand draft and bottled beers, together with imported European lagers. Food is also available in the shape of bar snacks and platters, with a cafe area on the other side of the main hallway.
