Mt Lyford is especially suited to learners and intermediate skiers, and is renowned as having one of the friendliest, longest learner/intermediate slopes. It is close to the alpine resort town of Hanmer Springs. This means, after a day of tackling the snow, you can soak your weary bones in a world-famous thermal pool!
