The main draw-card of this large centrally-located bar is its array of pool tables, available for hire by the hour. It gives the impression it never sleeps due to the early opening and late closing hours—but no matter what time it is there always seems to be playing customers at the baize. Beer is the tipple of choice down at the Rockpool, with many different New Zealand and imported beers available on tap and bottled. If you are into spirits, it has got to be Bbourbon if you want to fit in with the laid-back pool-hall atmosphere. If you get hungry try one of their pizzas.
