Overview
Initially steep, this track offers great views of Pencarrow and Wellington Harbour Heads. After the initial climb up, it is an easy attractive walk around Wellington's Miramar Peninsula (Breaker Bay-Tarakena Bay). You will enjoy the many historic sites and great views across Cook Strait to the South Island and the airport. The route finally drops down to the road and walkers return to the starting point via an easy coastal walk along Breaker Bay Road. The walk takes approximately 1 1/2 hours.
