Karori Swimming Pool, Wellington

This 30-metre summer-only pool is nestled in the quiet suburb of Karori only 10 minutes from the city center. Karori Swimming Pool has terraced concrete steps and a large grassed picnic area with umbrellas on tables. There is also a small 30-centimeter deep children's pool and qualified lifeguards on permanent patrol. Vending machines provide snacks. If you are sick of the crowded city pools then this is the ideal pool for you. Swimming courses, lane swimming and other lessons are given here.
