Pho Anh Huyen, Calgary

Centre Street North is home to some of Calgary's best Asian food, and this tiny Vietnamese noodle house is a fine example. The Pho Anh Huyen restaurant is decidedly 'no-frills', with cafeteria style tables and, oddly enough, framed golf photos with inspirational captions hanging on the walls. At Huyen the attention is paid to the food. The menu features a large selection of Vietnamese cuisine including noodle soups, rice vermicelli, satay, curries and quails. The drink list includes fantastic shakes made with exotic fruits such as lychee, jack fruit and mango. Call for additional information.
