Overview
The Commonwealth Stadium is located just to the northeast of downtown Edmonton. It is hard to miss this biggest stadium in Canada. Commonwealth Stadium was built for the 1978 Commonwealth Games, which Edmonton hosted. Now, the natural grass surface is home to the Edmonton Eskimos Football Team and host to major concerts throughout the year. The seating capacity exceeds 60,000.
