Evil Dave's Grill, Jasper

Evil Dave's Grill is unlike any other restaurant when it comes to food, ambiance or location. For starters, it is located in the center of Jasper National Park! The tranquility of the surroundings intelligently complements the restaurant's atmosphere; the dim lighting, wood flooring and plants growing out of bamboo shoots certainly give the customers the feel of the National Park. The owners of the restaurant, Mike and Cyndi Day, present the customers with a jazzy and wacky menu, cooked and created by the resident chef. Following their theme of giving their patrons a taste of hell, customers can order various dishes from around the world from their list of 'sinful starters' or 'evil entrees', and they can order any of the 'wicked wines' or 'magic elixirs' to accompany the meal. It's not just the ambiance that is nature-friendly, the restaurant was also the recipient of Jasper's Environmental Stewardship Award for its contribution in waste reduction in 2008. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant has 60 intimate seats available. Open hours for this place is seasonal.
