Winter can be a dark period of near-hibernation for some, but Jasper makes the season bright by partying in the midst of it. This annual two-week carnival celebrates winter in all its chilly glory. This fest includes family activities, varied events, reduced prices on local lift tickets and accommodations, live bands and comedy shows. Kicked off with a flashy parade through town, it also includes a snow sculpture contest, chili cook-off and toboggan races.
