Cinéma Parallèle, Montreal

While the venue of eXcentris (formerly only running art house films) now concentrates on performing arts and music, the Cinéma Parallèle continues to present Quebec independent and international films at the same venue:even if with a more limited number of projections. This cinema and artistic complex was spearheaded by local businessman and philanthropist Daniel Langlois, who sought to create a dynamic space where local talent could be celebrated. The venue also hosts a reasonably priced restaurant and is situated in as central a location as you can get. The ticket counter is a unique multimedia experience! Call ahead for details.
