Overview

One of the earlier and original punk/alternative music venues in Montreal, Foufs has been on the scene in one incarnation or another for more than 15 years. Notable appearances have included a 1990 concert by Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. A state of mind as much as a physical presence, with sculptures and remnants of the hardcore years, Foufs has re-made itself again into a live show venue. It is not unusual to see tourists and spiked hair punks sitting side-by-side at the bar or on the patio.
