A culinary experience like no other, O.Noir is part of what began as a dinner experiment by a blind Swiss pastor who used to blindfold his dinner guests. It is now a widely popular and truly unique restaurant. O.Noir’s concept is simple: guests enjoy a delicious meal, completely in the dark, while being served by a visually impaired staff. Because of the absolute darkness, guests can delightfully enjoy a wonderful menu with a heightened sense of smell and taste. Perfectly cooked dishes become regal treats, allowing guests to thoroughly savor the different textures and aromas on their plate. This social experiment is also a great way to provide work to a community that suffers from a very high unemployment rate. They are open seven days a week and offer two meal services, first at 5:45p and second at 9p. Lunches can also be arranged for larger groups. Reservations are a must.
