Copacabana is an authentic Brazilian churrascaria (steakhouse). Different meats are cooked outdoors over charcoal then brought to your table and carved fresh by passadores. This method of cooking and serving is actually a Brazilian tradition dating back to the 18th Century, when gauchos (similar to American cowboys) would hold a feast two times a year and cooked a meal over an open fire. In addition to the grilled meats, which are all-you-can-eat, there is a salad bar and hot buffet. Be sure to sample their brown sugar grilled pineapple. You can eat outdoors on a tropical patio, one of the largest outdoor patios in the city, or indoors in the two-level dining room.
