The congregation of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake has had a history that has demanded resilience, commitment to the church, and consistent devotion to it and to the Christian faith. They have had their churches, one after the other, burned down to rubble by successive American occupants and a terrible cyclone. The foundations of this church were laid in 1831, and they still stand firm and strong, just like the congregation's faith and trust in Christ. The church is very active in the community, and tend to it with almost motherly care. Special events, including musical performances are also organized here that have a deep spiritual theme. This church is also where the popular Strawberry Festival takes place each year. For more information see the website.
