Open since 1870, this local institution is Québec City’s oldest hotel. As such, the Clarendon has housed Quebec celebrities and politicians throughout history, and today prides itself on its “home away from home” ambience and friendly staff. Today, 170 rooms are modern, clean and spacious, some with whirlpool bathtubs. Posh this is not, but the service is there with 24-hour concierge and room service, valet and an onsite bar with live jazz music.
