So its name may make it sound like a less than desirable place to eat, and the unassuming décor doesn't exactly scream out "come inside!" - but there is no place like it for comfort food in Toronto. Its famous spiced-up, triple-decker grilled cheese selection is just the start, as there is a whole section of the menu devoted to "Things Mom Used to Make." Staying open late on weekends and being attached to the Bovine Sex Club (another with a misleading name) means the music here is always great, and the late-night crowd is usually a nice mix of creative types relaxing after a show.
