Spice Route, Toronto

Located in downtown Toronto Spice Route is a good addition to the diverse dining scene of the city. It calls itself an Asian Bistro & Bar. The decor completely matches the name with replicas of Indian statues and Asian masks embedded in wall recesses which create an Oriental look, combined with more contemporary furniture and lighting. The combination is quite pleasant. Low Japanese-style seating is also available. While the menu is chiefly Indo-Chinese, Thai dishes are also served. Considering it an Asian cuisine, spices and herbs are generously added making for a smoking hot dinner.
