Founded in 1978, Le Gavroche is the result of the refurbishment of a lovely Victorian home in West End. The romantic restaurant has set the bar for French dining in the city. Owner Manuel Ferreira, Manny to patrons, along with chef Robert Guest have formulated a menu inspired by Ferreira's travels and upbringing in Europe. The cuisine feature a contemporary take on French classics made from seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. The wine list boasts regional varieties as well as those from French countryside. The interiors convey a living room atmosphere, and the cozy fireplace and elegant accents exude a welcoming vibe.
