Brasserie Petanque, Buenos Aires

Renowned for its excellent French cuisine at reasonable prices, La Brasserie Petanque has long been one of funky San Telmo's most popular restaurants. As all authentic brasseries should, it carries an aura of the French countryside, a simple yet imaginative menu, and an extensive list of French wine. La Brasserie Petanque may be a great deal, but it’s no secret. In fact the spacious restaurant sometimes even fills during brunch. Without a reservation it's best to start off at the bar with a tall glass of red wine and a plate of French cheeses while waiting. On weekends, expect a dash of live music on the side.
