Wooden tables, woven straw seats, and wooden interior floors create a relaxed country-style setting, perfect for groups of friends! Floor to ceiling windows open onto a large sidewalk with outdoor seating, along a short cobblestone street. Tables are covered with recycled white paper, and a basket of colored crayons are provided to doodle while you wait for your meal. While the menu includes traditional barbecued meats and vegetables, Las Cholas also serves up very un-traditional barbecued tacos all on large wooden plates. Regional specialties from the Northern provinces, are cooked and served in individual clay pots. They include humita (a corn and cheese dish), tamales (made of minced beef), butternut squash (cooked with honey and meat), and rice with cheese and mushrooms.
