Ciberarte, Buenos Aires

This is a cultural space located in the Buenos Aires Art Centre. It was a project propelled by the British Council and the Argentina Association of English Culture, that in order to promote the general culture and English in particular, created this new space for the interchange. Created with aesthetic care and modern ambiance, the Ciberarte makes room for all artistic expression: sculptures, paintings, photographs and drawings, done by creative Argentinians as well as foreigners who wish to show their works. The cinéfilos were also included with a space on Tuesdays in which retrospective cycles are exhibited, or thematics of British films. The theater is present on the weekends. Every month, British performers and composers who give pop and contemporary music concerts are present; simultaneously throughout the year they will attack different social themes through workshops, conferences and seminars. Completing the intense activity, every day from 6pm to 7pm. A weekly program of video-art in the center Café is carried out. It is in this "Cibercafe " that you can surf the Internet, exploiting its informative possibilities in their most varied themes, with assistance if you need it, every day from 3pm to 7pm.
