Overview
Plaza Italia is a small plaza located off Avenida Santa Fe, covering two blocks between Darregueyra and Thames. The large San Martin statue in the center makes it easy to spot. There are several benches shaded by trees if you need a break from walking or just want to sit outside and read. There is also a permanent used book fair on-site that is open every day of the year. Many locals and travelers alike use this plaza as a meeting place, as it is close to several restaurants as well as the Subte D line "Plaza Italia" station and the "Calzada Circular."
