20 Pound Blues Bar, Rio de Janeiro

In a city where Samba dominates the musical menu, 20 Pound Blues Bar offers a refreshing change with its mix of jazz, rock and blues. The live music venue, bar, and restaurant occupies the second floor of an attractive colonial building in the heart of what is becoming known as Rio's "Cultural Corridor." Images of rock and blues icons such as Jimi Hendrix and B.B. King line the walls inside, while live bands provide sounds that fit the nature of the bar and its clientele.
