It's some distance off the beaten track, and the restaurant's small size makes reservations essential, but seafood lovers will find a visit to 476 ( Quatro Sete Meia' ) well worth the effort. Besides the delightful fare, 476 has amazing views of the rugged coastline and the sea. Traditional moquecas (Northeastern seafood stews) are among the most popular dishes here, but you can't go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu. The restaurant lies a few miles west of Barra da Tijuca, past the beaches of Prainha and Grumari, and it's easiest to arrive by car or cab from Barra or Recreio.
