This Italian-owned deli and cafe is the perfect spot for a relaxed breakfast or lunch in Ipanema; offering a warm welcome and delicious light meals. The coffee is first-rate and invigoratingly strong, and the breakfasts combining—fresh breads, fruits, Italian meats and cheeses—will really set you up for the day. Lunchtime diners can take their pick from a range of tasty treats including salads, soups, omelets, quiches, filled paninis, and pastas. One of the most popular paninis is the "Frederico", which combines brie with finely sliced Parma ham, grilled pimenta and rocket. Of the pasta dishes, the gnocchi with gorgonzola and Parma ham comes highly recommended.
