A new nightlife option for Rio's rich, chic and beautiful, this new bar-nightclub at Copacabana Palace does not take reservations, so you'll have to look seriously sharp if you want to make it past the door staff. Guests staying at the hotel can enter free of charge, but those whose budget doesn't stretch to a night at the super-chic hotel are welcome too, as long as they look the part. There's space inside to sit at tables and at the bar, but most revelers will make their way straight to the dance floor, where a mix of Brazilian models, soap opera stars and footballers shake their immaculately groomed stuff. It goes without saying that you should dress to impress for a night out at this hottest of nightspots, so leave the shorts and flip flops at the hotel and pull out all the glamor stops.
