An enormous wooden door and a suitably sizeable bouncer welcome you to this hip bar in the middle of Ipanema where the rich and the beautiful come to drink and dance the night away. Your R$70 entry gets you the equivalent value in drinks, but be warned it won't stretch too far in here. Bottles of Grey Goose and Bacardi with jugs of mixers is the norm, weighing in at R$150, whilst the extensive cocktail menu is also designed to seduce your wallet as well as your taste buds. On the weekend, the decent-sized lounge-lizard venue becomes a heaving throng of bodies with DJs spinning a variety of dance music, from hip-hop to house, so call ahead and get a table reserved in the thick of the action.
