Overview
Billed as a mix between a live music venue, a cultural meeting spot and a bar, this 2008 addition to the buzzing nightlife scene in and around Lapa has a reputation for staging quality live music performances. This is not the place to see big names, but some excellent local and national talent can be seen here, playing top-notch choro, samba and MPB (Classic Brazilian pop. There's a pleasant outdoor space as well as a relaxed lounge, and the good list of drinks combined with a bohemian crowd makes for a lively atmosphere and packed dance floor as the night progresses. -Lucy Bryson
