This welcoming, unpretentious little spot offers good breakfasts and lunches in the heart of Rio's historic center. Fresh fruit juices are a speciality of the house - play it safe with an orange juice or try out tropical treats such as acerola (a tangy red fruit with super-high levels of vitamin C), or pineapple. When made with water, the drink is called a suco, with milk, it's a vitamina. There's a good range of savory snacks here - often eaten standing up at the counter.
