Overview
The space occupied by the Centro Cultural Light, formerly served as the residence of an electric company. It got converted into a cultural center in 1919 and is now quite an interesting facility. The center has a small, permanent exhibit on how electricity evolved. Not just theoretical fundamentals but fun and playful experiments are also a a part of the overall history sessions. Apart from educating people about the rich history and science, the centre also encourages art and cultural activities. It houses a gallery where temporary exhibitions can be held and a small area where live acts are put up. The center also encourages theater, music and concerts.
