Overview
Located in lovely Botafogo, this is one of the many theaters that provide quality theatrical entertainment for Cariocas (inhabitants of Rio). This theater was created from the ground up by Leonardo Franco, the director and visionary behind this cultural center. There are two theaters, one for larger productions and another smaller, more intimate stage, perfect for tinier troupes. All types of performing arts are held here, from ballet and modern dance to plays and workshops and in addition to the theaters, there is also a reading room, an art gallery and a cybercafe.
