It isn't always easy being a vegetarian in Rio de Janeiro, but this relaxed spot in the heart of Ipanema boasts a vast range of tempting meat-free dishes. The emphasis is on fresh, natural ingredients, and diners can even feast on veggie versions of Brazilian classics such as feijoada (bean and meat stew) and moqueca (fish stew). There are countless varieties of salad, as well as more calorific treats such as cheesecake and chocolate tarts.
