Teatro Cafe Pequeno has quite a bit of history behind it. In the 1950s, it served as the special venue for the famous theater director Aurimar Rocha. Thereafter, the authorities of Rio de Janeiro adopted it in 1994, and remodeled it to make it fit for performances again. It is now used by budding theater artists to stage experimental performances. Besides theater, music concerts are also held here occasionally. The theater has a capacity for 120 guests. Located in the Leblon area of Rio de Janeiro, it provides affordable entertainment to locals and tourists.
