One of the ever expanding number of centers for the arts in Rio de Janeiro, Teatro Glauce Rocha showcases smaller, independent theater productions as well as comedy, music and dance events. While the theater productions and stand up comedy shows may be of limited appeal to non Portuguese speakers, the lively dance and music events are always worth watching, and the local talent is truly superb.
