Overview
Since its inception in the 1950s, the Teatro Maison de France has been one of the major theatrical venues in Rio. In 1996, with the help of the French Consulate, the theatre was totally revamped with state of art lighting and stage equipment and air conditioning. The venue hosts regular concerts, dance recitals, dramas and seminars. When regular shows are not happening, the space is also available on rent for meetings and seminars.
